Call for Participation
The call is open for participation in Critical Incident 2012.
Our Frequently Asked Questions should tell you all you need to know about offering something on Sunday June 17th 2012 at this legendary event. If they don’t answer your questions, you are also welcome to contact us.
A critical incident is an event of life-changing significance and, at Critical Incident, we hope that critical incidents will occur in those offering activities and sessions, as well as in attendees. Your offering show be something you are trying out, experimenting with, something that will take you forward in your own thinking, feeling and practice.
A workshop, talk, a discussion, a creative experiment, a performance, a debate, a happening - the call is open for you to be part of Critical Incident. We are receiving offers until the end of April 2012, though the earlier you respond to this call, the earlier your offering can be featured in the programme and the marketing of the event.
Your session or activity is a chance for you to explore with us the theme of “connection”. About 100-150 people usually attend the event, choosing from the programme which sessions they want to attend, including yours. We provide the space to you for free, and we market the event. You offer your time and energy on the day. We aren’t looking for people who want to sell their stuff and deliver “off the shelf”. Come and play, experimented and push a few limits in your own work.
If you’d like to offer something for Critical Incident, then fill in our Contributor Form.
We hope you’ll become part of this annual urban retreat in the heart of Brighton, UK.
Warm wishes
The Critical Incident Team.
